Off to Ninewells in Dundee for my special kidney operation! I watched the whole thing on the massive x-ray monitor as they drilled up my leg and into my kidney to place the stent. Back in the ward I went to the toilet and collapsed as the promised fall in blood pressure occurred and I had no idea what I was doing. Down from 247/140 to 140/70 in ten minutes - not wonder I felt strange! No longer a hummingbird, but a human. What an amazing operation! I am so lucky.
